Currently seeking an extremely perceptive HR Generalist who is capable of relating to individuals at all levels within the organization. Ability to perform duties at a professional level in recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, leave management, and payroll functions.

Direct Hire position, Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 4 PM! Health, vision, dental, and 401K offered!

Our client is a cabinet manufacturing firm based in Wardensville, offering custom cabinetry, millwork, cabinet installation and more.

Duties
  • Full screenings for new applicants
  • Attend job related events
  • Timekeeping/Payroll
  • Employee/Management communication in regards to policies, procedures, laws and company standards
  • Coach, counsel, and guide
  • Disciplinary actions
  • Employee relations specialist
  • Monitor attendance
  • Maintain employee personnel files and sends updates
  • Ensures compliance with USCIS I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification
  • Performance evaluations
  • Updates, monitors and maintains employee salary adjustments/increases
  • Handles leave of absence
  • Workers compensation
  • Employee Benefits
  • New-hire orientations
  • Ensure compliance with labor regulations
  • Other job related duties as needed

Requirements
  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • HR experience in manufacturing industry
  • Experience in administration of benefits and compensation programs and other HR programs
  • Min. 3 years of progressive HR experience in a Generalist role
  • Ability to exercise independent judgement
  • Excellent ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Knowledge of WV employment/labor laws
  • Proficient in Microsoft office (word, excel, and outlook)
  • Strong collaboration skills
  • Initiative
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Aptitude in problem solving/analysis
