HR Generalist – Temporary AssignmentQualified Staffing – Cartersville is seeking an experienced HR Generalist for a temporary assignment with a well-established company in White, Georgia. This is a 100% onsite position supporting employees and leadership in a fast-paced distribution environment.Key Responsibilities
Support day-to-day HR operations, employee relations, and employee engagement.
Address employee concerns, disciplinary matters, and workplace conflicts.
Partner with supervisors and management on HR policies, performance management, and employee relations.
Assist with recruiting, staffing, onboarding, and employee orientation.
Maintain employee records and HRIS information.
Support attendance, timekeeping, payroll-related questions, and employee transfers.
Assist with benefits, leave of absence, and other employee programs.
Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, including FMLA, ADA, FLSA, OSHA, and I-9 requirements.
Partner with safety teams on workers' compensation claims and incident investigations.
Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information.
Qualifications
3+ years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution environment.
Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
Strong employee relations and conflict-resolution experience.
Knowledge of FMLA, ADA, FLSA, OSHA, and employment compliance.
Experience with HRIS systems such as Workday, ADP, SAP, or similar.
I-9/E-Verify experience preferred.
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Ability to work onsite and provide support across multiple shifts as needed.
