Job Description
ResponsibilitiesThe HR & Administration Assistant has the overall responsibility to deliver the following:
SR’s standards, policies and procedures, confidentiality standards, and code of ethical behavior.
Uses appropriate judgment in upward communication regarding department, employee, or business unit concerns.
Develops and maintains office forms and procedures to include updating the front desk manual and assists with administrative tasks.
Greets and assists visitors as they arrive, ensuring proper building security through tracking visitor sign-in and issuance/retrieval of temporary badges.
Answers multi-line phone system and forwards calls appropriately.
Keeps the Front office area looking neat and presentable.
Sorts and distributes mail and processes outgoing USPS mail / FedEx packages.
Serves as primary backup to the Facilities Administrator for maintenance issues, supply management, invoicing, Iron Mountain archive management, and vendor management.
Verifies postage money monthly.
Assists with special projects as assigned by Supervisor and Manager to meet company and departmental objectives. This position is considered essential personnel and requires being on-site when the office is closed to other staff due to inclement weather.
Professional Qualifications Required:
High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
Professional service-oriented demeanor
Reliable attendance and reporting to work on time
Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
Ability to multitask.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications to include Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Preferred:
Two years previous administrative or office assistant experience
