Job Description

Do you have previous manufacturing experience? Do you like 2nd shift? Our client located in Saginaw, Mi is looking for motivated workers that like overtime. 2nd shift 3pm-11:00pm $ 13.50-$14.00 depending on experience. Responsibilities 
  1. Loading/unloading of all heat treat containers in accordance with loading procedures, utilizing an overhead lift assist and part hook.
  2. Implementation of all quality procedures as they relate to specific systems and/or customers.
  3. Safe Forklift Operation.
  4. Knowledge and understanding of process flow, material storage, and staging locations for both customer and heat treat containers.
  5. Maintain the required standard of quality on a continuing basis.
  6. Maintain output at or above established levels.
  7. Accurate inventory inputting, utilizing the PLEX platform.
  8. Communication with other shifts for change over purposes.
  9. Start up and shut down procedures.
  10. Maintaining downtime log records.
  11. Periodic material movement requiring forklift operation. (Note: Fork Truck Training is required for this function.)
  12. Accurately labeling finished product.
  13. specifications and directing material to appropriate work cell or area.
Qualifications
  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Forklift experience.
  3. Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds.
  4. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  5. Must be willing to work toward attaining company goals and objectives.
  6. Must be willing to work in a shared responsibility and team-based work environment.
  7. Ability to learn multiple tasks and willing to stay abreast of changes and learn new tasks.
  8. Must possess positive attitude, be dependable, reliable, self-motivated, and trustworthy.
  9. Ability to meet criteria for training, completion of OJT, successful completion of applicable tests and demonstration of competence in skill.
