DIRECT HIRE! Lead Installer – Custom Cabinetry Cookeville, TNPosition Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Installer to oversee and complete high-quality custom cabinet installation projects. This role requires advanced carpentry knowledge, strong leadership skills, and the ability to ensure each installation meets our standards of craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. The Lead Installer will manage jobsite workflow, guide installation helpers, and serve as a professional representative of the company.Key Responsibilities:
Lead the installation of custom cabinetry in residential and commercial settings
Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, layouts, and job specifications
Ensure all measurements, cuts, and installations are accurate and aligned with project requirements
Oversee jobsite operations from start to finish, including delegating tasks to helpers or apprentices
Troubleshoot issues, make necessary adjustments, and provide on-site problem solving
Communicate clearly with project managers, builders, and homeowners regarding project status
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Transport tools, materials, and cabinetry to and from job sites as needed
Ensure jobs are completed on schedule and at the expected quality level
Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Qualifications:
Minimum 3–5 years of cabinet installation or carpentry experience
Proven experience leading or supervising installation crews preferred
Strong knowledge of carpentry tools, cabinet installation hardware, and finishing techniques
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements
Excellent hand-tool and power-tool proficiency
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Strong communication and customer-service skills
Ability to lift 50–75 lbs and perform physical tasks typical of installation work
Preferred Skills:
Experience with custom or high-end cabinetry
Knowledge of crown molding, trim work, and specialty finishes
Ability to train and mentor junior installers
Familiarity with jobsite safety practices (OSHA guidelines)
Schedule:Full-time, Monday–Friday, with occasional overtime depending on project needs.Compensation:$55,000+ annually, based on experience and skill level.
