Do you enjoy working with your hands? Are you detailed with a refurbishment? Qualified Staffing is seeking hands-on, detailed Gas Meter Refurbish Technician for a locally owned and operated business in Perry, Ga.
Hours: Monday – Thursday 7:00 am – 5:30 pm
Pay: $16-$18/hour
Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and organize gas meters from warehouse to sandblasting machine
  • Operate and manage sandblasting machine
  • Inspect gas meters for defects, inconsistencies, or damage
  • Utilize power tools to repair small parts of the gas meters
  • Ensure all repairs are done efficiently and to company standards
 Qualifications:
  • Use of hand/power tools
  • Some welding experience preferred
  • Operation of a sandblaster
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and follow safety protocols.
