HIRING IMMEDIATELY$20-$24Location: Appleton, WIShifts: 2nd shift (2pm-12:30am Monday-Thursday) As a Folder/Gluer Operator, you will play a crucial role in the production process of folding and gluing cartons, packaging materials, and other paper products. Your attention to detail, precision, and technical expertise will ensure the efficient operation of the equipment and the delivery of high-quality finished products.Responsibilities:
Machine Operation: Operate and oversee the folder/gluer equipment to fold and glue materials according to job specifications.
Setup and Adjustment: Set up the machine, adjust settings, and make necessary corrections to ensure accurate folding and gluing processes.
Quality Control: Monitor the production process to maintain quality standards, including checking for defects, accuracy, and consistency.
Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on the equipment, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate repairs as needed to prevent downtime.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations, practices, and procedures to create a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Production Schedule: Follow production schedules, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines to fulfill orders in a timely manner.
Documentation: Record production data, job details, and quality checks accurately for reporting and quality assurance purposes.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other team members, such as supervisors, quality control personnel, and maintenance staff, to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
Experience: Previous experience as a Folder/Gluer Operator or in a similar role within the printing or packaging industry.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating folder/gluer machinery, understanding technical drawings, and troubleshooting mechanical issues.
Attention to Detail: Ability to spot errors, maintain consistency, and ensure the highest quality standards in the finished products.
Problem-Solving: Capability to troubleshoot machine malfunctions, make adjustments, and resolve issues promptly to minimize disruptions.
Physical Stamina: Capacity to stand for extended periods, lift heavy materials, and work in a fast-paced production environment.
Team Player: Strong communication skills, willingness to collaborate with team members, and contribute to a positive work culture.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent. Additional technical training in machine operation or printing technology is advantageous.
