Position: Floor Lead (3rd Shift)
Location: Flint
Salary: $13.50-$16/hr during training, $17/hr after training

Responsibilities:
•    Safety and Quality:
o    Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and quality standards.
o    Conduct regular audits to maintain high standards.
o    Monitor operator performance and scrap levels.
•    Break Coverage and Support:
o    Provide breaks to operators during their shifts.
•    Cross Shift Walkthrough:
o    Verify press counts and collect necessary paperwork.
o    Maintain press cleanliness and ensure proper equipment operation.
•    Cleaning and Organization:
o    Follow cleaning procedures to maintain a clean production area.
o    Empty trash cans and manage cardboard disposal.
•    Product Inspection:
o    Inspect products for quality and adherence to specifications.
o    Approve parts for inventory and identify nonconforming material.
o    Monitor production trends using control charts.
•    Tagging and Documentation:
o    Issue tags for rejects, items on hold, and work-in-progress.
o    Maintain accurate records of all issued tags.
•    Procedure Compliance:
o    Monitor and enforce the use of documented procedures on the production floor.
o    Maintain control over documentation.
Qualifications:
•    High school diploma or GED (candidates working toward their GED will be considered).
•    Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
•    Previous supervisory experience is a plus.
•    Knowledge of lean manufacturing and safety practices is desirable.
•    Strong organizational, communication, and math skills.
•    Good attendance record.
