Job Description

You must live within 30 minutes of Brighton to be considered for this role!
Position:  Financial ParaplannerLocation:  Brighton, MI Pay:  40-50K per year based on experienceShift:  M-F, 8:00am – 5:00pm some evenings may be required We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented professional on behalf of our client, to ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the practice while providing superior customer service to existing clients and prospects. Position requires employee to perform industry specific tasks such as application submission and account transfer follow-up, incoming new business client calls, database management, and client appointment preparation including preparation of paper and e-applications for each designated advisor.
Responsibilities:
  1. Follow up on any pending new business, work with the appropriate companies.
  2. Resolve any issues regarding new accounts, transfers or amendments.
  3. Update clients weekly on their accounts and enter all data in Redtail.
  4. Assist advisor with pre-appointment preparation (applications, etc.) by reviewing the advisor’s weekly calendar for upcoming appointments.
  5. Complete, submit and maintain compliance logs for all check deposits.
  6. Assist in training new advisors on the process for new business.
  7. Process Broker/Dealer paperwork.
  8. Assist with any new business related special projects or audits.
  9. Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  1. Previous experience in the financial industry (ideally ACAT experience)
  2. Highly Organized with strong organizational and time management skills
  3. Phenomenal phone skills and ability to build trust with clients.
  4. Process driven and ability to prioritize day to day tasks and issues
  5. Must be able to operate with a proactive approach when dealing with advisor and clients.
  6. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  7. Strong attention to detail, and must have experience in a fast paced environment.
