Field Service Technician
Qualified Staffing is currently seeking a skilled and customer-focused Field Service Technician to join our client’s team. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment in the field. You will also play a crucial role in training customers on equipment usage and providing assistance with machine installations. This position requires a valid driver's license, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to travel up to 60% of the time, including nights and weekends.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment in the field.
- Read and interpret drawings, specifications, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Provide training to customers on equipment operation and maintenance.
- Assist with the installation of machines at customer sites.
- Maintain accurate records of service performed and document any issues or concerns.
- Collaborate with the internal team to resolve complex technical problems.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through timely and effective communication and problem resolution.
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work directly with customers.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Previous experience with packaging machines or similar equipment.
- 2+ years of related experience or training in a similar field.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.
- Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time, which may include nights and weekends.

- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Strong technical knowledge of reading and interpreting drawings, specifications, schematics, and wiring diagrams.

- This position requires extensive travel, up to 60% of the time, including nights and weekends.
- All travel expenses are paid by company: airfare, hotel, rental car, all meals.
- Occasional overnight stays may be required.
Pay: $28 - $32 per hour
