This is a day shift with a start time of 8:00am and No weekend Shifts. This is a Direct Hire position with our partner
  • Day shift - Monday through Friday

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Travels to customer locations in company vehicle to install or troubleshoot equipment problems with oil lubricant pumping machinery and mechanical equipment 
  • Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts
  • Examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections
  • Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements
  • Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments
  • Repairs or replaces defective parts
  • Installs special functional and structural parts in devices
  • Lubricates and cleans parts
  • Starts devices to test performance
  • Sets up and operates drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts
  • Talks to customers in person and receives orders for installation or repairs
  • Fills out service work order for parts used on the job and for time charged to the job
  • Refers complaints of service failures to department head for investigation
  • Operate and drive a service truck
  • Pipe oil tanks
  • Load and unload service equipment from service truck
  • Follow safe practices and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:
  • Skilled in troubleshooting and repairing various machinery and mechanical equipment
  • Have your own basic tools
  • Chauffeur's license preferred or willingness to obtain
  • Pipefitting experience
  • Certificate or Associates degree in Plumbing or Pipefitting from college or technical school preferred; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to operate scissor lift and hi-low
  • Ability to climb ladders in order to reach products
  • Ability to travel occasionally
