Romeo-based manufacturer that is a leader in the design and manufacturing of laboratory products and supplies is seeking a Fiberglass Laborer to join their team. In addition to innovative cryopreservation equipment, they supply upright freezer racks, chest freezer racks, liquid nitrogen freezer racks, canisters / cassettes and frames as well as laboratory boxes and dividers. This is a 1st shift position, flexible start time of 5AM or 6AM, Monday-Thursday (10-hour shifts), $16.00 per hour. Candidates must submit a complete up-to-date resume to be considered. Apply Now! Job Overview: The Fiberglass Laborer must be able to read, understand and follow applicable work instructions, safety requirements and Quality Management System Procedures. The Fiberglass Laborer reports directly to the Cryogenic Equipment Production Manager. Responsibilities and duties: • Cutting, grinding, sanding, buffing and assembly of fiberglass parts. • Maintain equipment and keep workspace in good condition. • Analyze and report any issues, malfunctions or defective parts. Qualifications: • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs. • Highly organized and detail oriented. • Ability to contribute within a team environment. • Adaptable to a continuous improvement environment and contributes with ideas. • Ability to work independently with limited direction. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Must be at least 18 years of age.
