Job Description
Warehouse Maintenance Are you looking to get into the manufacturing industry? Look no further; we have the right job for you! This is a temp-to-hire position after 90 days (with benefits!) Our client is seeking a full-time Facility Maintenance Technician who also has experience in welding. This is a 1st shift, full-time position working 7am to 3pm, $18 hourly in Greensboro. Duties and Responsibilities-Conduct minor welding repairs and fabrication of metal structures and equipment components.-Perform general maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry, and basic plumbing.-Troubleshoot and repair facility equipment.-Operate power tools and heavy machinery safely and efficiently.-Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the maintenance workshop and storage areas.-Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.-Collaborate with other departments to support facility projects and improvements.-Ensure compliance with local codes and regulations. Qualifications -High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in welding is a plus.-Proven experience in MIG welding; TIG and stick welding techniques experience a plus.-Previous experience in facility maintenance or a related field is preferred.-Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.-Knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems.-Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals.-Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment and lift up to 40lbs.-Ability to work overtime as needed.-Knowledge of safety protocols and a commitment to a safe work environment.
