Fabricator – 2nd shift
Are you an experienced Fabricator in the Louisville, KY area? Qualified staffing has a Fabricator position available. Our client is a global piping solutions provider. These are temp-to-hire positions that have the opportunity to be hired on full-time (with benefits!) after 90 days. Apply now! Position Summary: Fabricators are responsible for fabricating and assembling polyethylene pipe to create a variety of customized structures such as: fittings, valves, T's, Y's, elbows, aqua shields, geothermal vaults, manholes, dual containment units, pumps, gas aeration lines and similar structures that meet customer specifications by performing the following duties.
Shift: 2nd shift (Mon-Thur 3PM-5AM, PLUS OT on Friday/Saturday) Pay Rate: $19 per hourWith a $1.00 shift differential for every hour worked on second shift
Duties and Responsibilities Reads and interprets blueprints, product drawings and pic ticket orders to determine materials, tools and equipment needed to complete work. Fabricates and assembles product per specifications. Follows quality control procedures to ensure fabricated product meets customer specifications. Maintains accurate records of materials used on “ticket” locates and pulls required materials in inventory. Maintains clean work area and equipment; follows safety procedures concerning use of equipment and materials to maintain safe working conditions. Operates ISCO’s fusion and fast fusion equipment, cranes and forklifts. Utilizes a variety of hand tools, saws and cutting equipment. Performs other related duties as assigned. Lift up to 50 pounds
Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED • Fabrication experience
