Duties:

  • Pull fabricated material from stock and prepare for delivery to the appropriate customers
  • Pull orders according to customer specifications
  • Perform stock checks to verify materials and restock as needed
  • Measure/weigh material before shipping to ensure compliance with customer specifications
  • Use an AS400 computer system to complete paperwork and production reports
  • Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor, lead person or management

Shift: To be determined. Will consider someone who is able to work 1st or 2nd shift (6am-4pm and 4pm-2am) Monday-Thursday (start/end times could be flexible)

  • At least 3 years of shipping experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to read and understand measuring tools and equipment such as a tape measure, calipers and micrometer
  • Ability to safely operate overhead cranes and stand up forklift
  • Knowledge of binding equipment and how to use it properly
  • Ability to recognize and interpret colors according to the company’s classification system
  • Ability to perform math including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of fractions as well as convert fractions to decimals and vice versa
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50lbs as well as lift and move heavier objects with the assistance of cranes, forklifts or another employee
  • Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a production team
