Our client, funded by the U.S. Navy, is seeking an ERP Project Manager to lead the implementation of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Manufacturing Execution System (MES) upgrade. This role involves coordinating with internal users, Navy stakeholders, and software partners to improve internal capacity and capability. Responsibilities and Duties:
Project Management:
Collaborate with Navy project managers, internal leaders, and software vendors to maintain project timelines and ensure deliverables are met.
Conduct bi-weekly meetings to provide project updates and discuss schedules with stakeholders.
Change Management:
Assist company leadership with managing organizational change during ERP implementation.
Help develop high-level organizational goals and specific system requirements with department leaders.
Training and User Support:
Ensure that internal users adhere to training and the implementation plan.
Train employees on effective ERP system use and provide ongoing support.
System Maintenance:
Perform daily system maintenance and oversee ERP upgrades as needed.
Collect feedback from users to enhance system processes and performance.
Skills/Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business or IT.
ERP Expertise:
In-depth understanding of ERP systems (both technical and functional).
Experience:
Project management experience is preferred.
Ability to recognize and mitigate risks, especially concerning secure data.
Experience streamlining processes across various disciplines.
Technical Skills:
Strong computer literacy, analytical, and data analysis skills.
Ability to forecast future improvements aligned with company growth.
Knowledge: Familiarity with the client's business practices and standards is an advantage.
Physical Requirements:
Sedentary work; mainly office-based.
