Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Drawer Carpet Installer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing custom carpet solutions specifically designed for drawer systems, furniture, and related spaces. You will work closely with our clients and designers to ensure that the carpets fit perfectly, are securely installed, and enhance the aesthetic appeal. Key Responsibilities:
Measure and cut carpets to fit drawers, storage compartments, and furniture units accurately.
Install carpet liners in drawer systems and related furniture to ensure smooth functionality and a polished finish.
Ensure precise cutting, fitting, and alignment of carpet materials to avoid wrinkles, gaps, or damage.
Work with various types of carpet materials, such as felt, foam-backed, and non-slip fabrics, depending on the project needs.
Provide guidance to clients on carpet types, materials, and maintenance to optimize the lifespan and appearance of installed products.
Collaborate with carpenters, designers, and other specialists to meet specific design or functional requirements.
Handle all tools and equipment, including carpet trimmers, glue, and adhesives, safely and efficiently.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and quality in all installations.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with installed carpets and make adjustments as necessary.
Ensure all projects meet company quality standards and are completed on time.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a carpet installer or similar role.
Knowledge of different carpet types, adhesives, and installation techniques.
Excellent measurement and cutting skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Strong attention to detail and precision.
Ability to lift and carry heavy materials when needed.
Good communication skills to collaborate with clients and other team members.
Problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot installation issues.
