Administration:
Provide, execute and oversee efficient administrative support and guidance for volunteers involved in various activities; ensuring motivation, management and development. Provide organizational support and direction necessary to ensure the success of the programs. Communicate in a timely, efficient manner to members, keeping members up-to-date on important issues between meetings. Communicate to the President duties, functions and activities. Maintain and manage content for social media accounts.
Membership Services
Assess membership needs and interests in order to assist in the development of programs which meet membership/stakeholder needs. Present a professional image in representing with various publics. Coordinate Ribbon Cuttings for New Members Work with the President to actively market to the community on a year-round basis. Participate in year round membership campaigns.
Program of Work Work with Committees to execute plans and goals. Assist in evaluating the effectiveness and feasibility of all programs. Coordinate annual planning retreats and orientation. Plan and execute all events and meetings Manage the youth leadership program Compose and execute all public relations messaging
Special Events
Hold accountability for developing budgets, recruiting volunteers, execution of event and final profitability of special events Evaluate potential new programs for recommendation In a timely manner, complete special projects as assigned by the President which support the goals and objectives.
Requirements:
- 4-year degree in related field.
- 3+ years applicable experience.
- Previous Chamber or Association experience preferred.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in Office Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Experience with ChamberMaster and Adobe preferred.
- Must be able to work after hours.
