HIRING NOW DIE CUTTER OPERATOR$20-$24Location: Appleton, WISHIFT: 10pm – 6:30am (30-minute unpaid break) Sunday Night – Thursday Night
A die cutter operator is responsible for operating and maintaining die cutting machines in a manufacturing or printing environment. Some of the key responsibilities and duties of a die cutter operator may include:
  • Setting up and adjusting die cutting machines according to job specifications.
  • Loading and unloading materials onto the machine.
  • Operating the machine to cut, shape, and trim materials such as paper, cardboard, fabric, or plastic.
  • Monitoring the production process to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Performing routine maintenance on the equipment to keep it in good working condition.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving machine issues as they arise.
  • Following safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Communicating with other team members to coordinate workflow and production schedules.
  • Inspecting finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Keeping accurate records of production output and machine maintenance.

Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years’ experience being a die cutter operator.
  • General knowledge of printing and publishing
  • Perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Ability to read and understand written and verbal instructions, Job tickets, press imposition and rule-up sheets.
  • Must be mechanically inclined.
  • Must be quality oriented.


Overall, a die cutter operator plays a crucial role in the manufacturing process by operating the machinery to cut and shape materials accurately and efficiently.
