Job Description
Qualified Staffing is NOW HIRING for a Data Technician in the Dalton, GA area! Pay: Based on Experience (Some experience required) | $16.00+Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8am - 5pmPlease note that these hours are subject to change as workload and procedures may dictate. Key Responsibilities:
Review all local and client accounts in the service areas.
Issue check reads, need reads, and service requests as needed.
Prepare cyclical bills for customers, including performing calculations, data validation, corrections, and report reviews.
Process cyclical billing for customer accounts and validate account accuracy.
Review reports, calculate consumption, and make account financial adjustments.
Send files to the bill print function (Arista) for monthly utility bills and reminder notices.
Prepare the “Net to Gross” late payment report daily.
Perform additional duties, including:
Keying in miscellaneous data.
Reviewing rate studies.
Assisting in program testing.
Typing documentation.
Balancing reports.
Prepare monthly billing for miscellaneous receivables by processing orders.
Maintain a control register of open service orders related to miscellaneous receivables billing.
Perform other duties as required.
Skills & Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of billing systems.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Effective communication Skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and billing software.
Problem-solving skills to resolve billing issues.
Strong judgment to determine when to escalate issues and when to resolve them independently.
