Our client, a five-time Richmond Times Dispatch Top Workplace, is now hiring Customer Service Representatives!  Position: Customer Service RepresentativeLocation: Richmond, VA
Compensation: Starting at $17/hr – Based on experienceSchedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm, Rotating Saturday on-call POSITION SUMMARY: The Customer Service Representative plays a key role in managing various aspects of customer accounts, ensuring their satisfaction, driving inside sales initiatives, and plays an important role in the enhancement of the overall customer experience.  JOB TASKS / FUNCTIONS: 
  • Prioritize customer satisfaction by fostering a customer-centric mindset, gathering feedback, and continuously improving the customer experience.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues related to billing, service agreements, and payment discrepancies, while assisting with credit checks and walk-in requests.
  • Promote cross-selling of services and renew service agreements to maintain long-term customer relationships; assist with activating Paw Point accounts for rewards.
  • Schedule and coordinate service calls, tune-ups, and deliveries, ensuring optimal equipment performance and timely technical support.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide a seamless customer experience and maintain accurate, up-to-date customer records.
  • Efficiently manage customer service programs, maintain a positive attitude, and proactively engage with customers to anticipate their needs.
     
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 
  • Upbeat personality and a warm and friendly demeanor
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to listen actively, provide solutions, and convey information clearly.
  • Demonstrates empathy, patience, and rapport-building skills, addressing customer concerns with understanding and finding suitable solutions.
  • Adaptable and flexible, able to handle unpredictable situations and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude with cross-selling and inside sales abilities to enhance customer experience and drive sales. Strong problem-solving and time management skills to handle multiple inquiries efficiently.
 PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 
  • High School Diploma and/or GED required
  • General knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, or “Trades industry” 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficiency in Service Titan
