Job Description
Our Howell client is seeking a Manufacturing Customer Order Specialist to support their Parts and Service department. This role requires experience with researching through catalogs and pricing for specific automotive parts. Also by working closely with clients and salespeople to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment! This position pays hourly based on experience ($20-$24). Details are:
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Converses with customers and sales people on the phone or through written correspondence.
Quotes prices and determines availability of ordered items.
Determines availability of ordered items. Advises expected delivery date and method of delivery. Follows up to see that order is delivered by specified date or to let the customer know of a delay in delivery.
Record orders and customer information on order sheets and checks for accuracy and adequacy of information recorded.
Ascertains credit rating of customer.
Assigns factory order numbers and due dates to orders.
Maintains billing log and order files.
JOB SPECIFICATION (QUALIFICATIONS):
Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Ability to deal with all levels of customers.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Basic math aptitude.
Ability to handle stressful situations.
Experience researching automotive parts (required)
