Crimping Operator1st Shift – 7am-3: 00pm$17.00/hr The Crimping Operator is responsible for assembling automotive connector systems by accurately crimping terminals onto wires in accordance with engineering specifications and quality standards. This role supports high-volume production while ensuring product reliability, safety, and compliance with automotive industry requirements. Main Tasks
Set up and operate crimping machines (manual, semi-automatic, or automatic) to attach terminals to wires
Read and follow work instructions, prints, and crimp specifications
Perform crimp height, pull-force, and visual inspections using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
Identify and report defects, tooling issues, or process deviations
Perform routine machine adjustments, changeovers, and basic preventive maintenance
Maintain accurate production and quality documentation
Follow all safety procedures, including ESD and lockout/tagout requirements
Meet production targets while maintaining quality standards
Support continuous improvement and 5S initiatives
Preferred Education, Experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience in wire harnessing, crimping, or automotive manufacturing preferred
Ability to read technical drawings and work instructions
