The Finance Risk Management (“FRM”) Compliance Management Program Risk Specialist will a support the assessment of finance risks and ensure sustainability of related processes in Global Finance. The position will support the compliance management program governance, risk assessments, evaluation and development of control environments, participation in control testing, reporting on department-wide training, review of intercompany agreements and audit and exam preparation. The specialist will provide support across a number of lines of business in the Global Finance department and will interact with a number of stakeholders and subject matter experts. A basic understanding of regulatory requirements as applied to finance business processes is needed. 

Responsibilities:
• Understand financial risks, regulations, regulatory guidance and other requirements. Keep abreast of financial industry laws and regulations and provide risk expertise in supporting a diverse group of business leaders
• Support the assessments of financial processes, documenting operational and compliance risks and escalating as necessary. Support the design of controls which demonstrate sustainable compliance 
• Support the review of intercompany agreements, escalating issues as needed
• Coordinate communications and meetings with a broad audience of stakeholders, including senior management
• Assist in preparations for and execution of audits and exams and monitor timeliness of remediation and closure
• Understand and interpret tools such as swim lane process maps, performance metrics, control plans, and Risk and Control Self Assessments
• Coordinate data and content for Sr. Management reporting, and support Executive and Board reporting

Basic qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience
• 2+ years of experience in a field related to risk management (e.g., compliance, legal, audit, business risk office, operations risk management, credit risk management, or finance)
• 1+ years of experience supporting projects implementing new regulations or applying regulations to business functions
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaborative abilities
• Ability to work independently and be flexible to change in a fast-paced environment that requires the balancing of competing priorities
• Working knowledge of and ability to use MS Office applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Other preferred qualifications:
• Knowledge of and experience with interpreting US regulations and guidance, and supporting implementation
• Compliance or other Risk Management certifications (CRCM, RMA-CRC, etc.)
• Working knowledge of MS Office, JIRA or other project management tools 
• 1+ years of experience with a Compliance Management Program (CMP) framework, specifically as it relates to governance, training, risk assessment, corrective action, decision making, monitoring, and reporting
• 1+ years process and/or control design and execution testing via quality assurance, audit, examination or related experience
• Knowledge of and experience with Credit Risk Management, Finance, Treasury and Regulatory Reporting
• Knowledge of and experience with PRIME
