Originate commercial and real estate loans and deposits
Manage assigned business loan portfolios with high service standards
Collect, track, and resolve required reporting and exceptions promptly
Prepare and present loan commitment proposals to business owners
Build and maintain strong referral and borrower relationships to ensure satisfaction
Analyze personal and business tax returns; perform debt service coverage analysis
Develop and execute strategies to generate new loans and deposits
Maintain knowledge of products/services to drive new and existing business opportunities
Understand SBA and USDA loan products and guidelines
Promote, cross-sell, and market all credit union products and services
Assist with annual loan servicing analysis and data collection
Participate in monthly commercial collection meetings and provide insights on delinquent accounts
Travel occasionally for branch visits, events, and training
Maintain a professional and positive image of the credit union
Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Ensure compliance with Bank Secrecy Act and OFAC requirements
Uphold the organization’s mission, vision, and core values
Support initiatives through teamwork and professionalism
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in business, finance or accounting.
Solid understanding of commercial real estate lending with a minimum of three (3) years’ experience
Demonstrated leadership proficiency in sales and service.
Demonstrated results in new business development and execution strategy to build sales and successful business relationships.
Excellent cold-calling skills.
Proven track record in meeting sales goals.
Intermediate Word and Excel skills required.
Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
Must be bondable.
