Job Description
Answer incoming calls from technicians, update calls, take orders, answer inquiries and questions, handle complaints, troubleshoot and resolve problems, and provide information. Must be able to multi-task and work independently in a complex, high-pressure business environment. Manage Customer Accounts
Main Job Tasks and Activities:
answer phones professionally
respond to customer inquiries
research required information using available resources
handle and resolve customer/technician issues
provide customers with product, service, and equipment warranty information
process service requests, forms, and applications
identify and escalate priority issues
route calls to appropriate resource
follow up customer/technician calls when necessary
communicate with customers and/or employees to disseminate information
maintain records, reports, and files
operate computer workstation to enter, access, and retrieve data
proofread printed or written material
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
proficient in relevant computer applications
knowledge of customer service principles and practices
customer service experience
good keyboard skills
knowledge of administration and clerical processes
relevant product and market knowledge
