Job Description

Hiring Now: Lathe Machine and Casting OperatorsNight Shift: 4:30pm Start$19+/hrChesterfield, MI
Responsibilities:
  1. Operate and monitor machinery and equipment to process raw materials into final products
  2. Loading large products in and out of machines
  3. Adjust machine settings to maintain production efficiency and product quality
  4. Load and unload materials as needed for production processes
  5. Conduct quality control checks to ensure products meet specification
  6. Perform routine maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot technical issues as they arise
  7. Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and equipment damage
  8. Keep detailed records of production output, equipment maintenance, and any incidents or issues that occur during shifts
  9. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth production processes
 Requirements:
  1. 1-2 years experience
  2. High school diploma or equivalent
  3. Keen attention to detail
  4. Commitment to workplace safety
  5. Must have two (2) to three (3) years of CNC experience.
  6. Proven experience as a mill operator or in a similar role
  7. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  8. Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials and equipment
  9. Vocational or technical training in machinery operation or a related field
  10. Familiarity with specific types of machinery or equipment used in the milling process
  11. Experience with computerized control systems for production machinery
