CNC Machinist - DIRECT HIRE- Port Huron, MI. 

Openings are for a Level 1-3 Machinist 

Shift openings: 2nd and 3rd shift

Work week at a glance: 4 @10 hour days - Monday through Thursdays- Fridays through Sundays off 

Pay:$ 18- $28 (Rate of pay determined on experience) 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
  • Load parts into fixtures
  • Load appropriate program
  • Perform inspections of finished parts
  • Uses applicable tools and measuring devices to check parts per instructions
  • Troubleshoot routine machine errors
  • Perform routine production tool changes once trained
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance of fixtures and machines

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must have organizational skills to keep accurate records
  • Experience working as an Machinist in the CNC machining field
  • Demonstrated skill in working with a variety of hand tools
  • Demonstrated effective communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to work and follow instructions, cooperative attitude toward co-workers and managers
  • Willingness and ability to be flexible to work in the production areas as time permits and as requested
