Job Description
Position: CNC Machinist – Production Department Location: Fenton Pay: $17-19/hr. Based on experience Shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm, OT may be required depending on the daily needs of the shop!

You will be responsible for the setup and operation of CNC lathes, performing and ensuring all parts meet strict quality standards for our clients. Duties:
Setup & Operation: Independently perform 1–5 setups per day on CNC vertical and horizontal machining centers or lathes.
Program Optimization: Make necessary machine adjustments, at the machine control to adjust tool paths, speeds, and feeds.
Precision Measurement: Use micrometers, calipers, and gauges to perform first-piece and in-process inspections to tolerances of
Tool Management: Monitor tool wear, perform tool changes, and adjust offsets to maintain part consistency throughout the production run.
Documentation: Accurately complete production logs and quality check sheets.
Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
Experience: 2–5+ years of experience in an active CNC machining role (setup and operation). Also knowledge of manual machining (Bridgeport mills or manual lathes) is a plus.
Technical Knowledge: Proficiency with Okuma turning centers & control
Blueprint Reading: Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings and symbols.
Mathematics: Practical application of shop math, including decimals and basic geometry.
