Job Overview: 

We are seeking a CNC Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a relevant machine shop environment, demonstrating proficiency in operating CNC machines (lathe or mill). The primary responsibilities include setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC equipment to produce high-quality parts and components according to specifications. 

Responsibilities: 
  1. Set up machines according to job specifications and blueprints. 
  2. Monitor machine operations to ensure efficiency and accuracy, making necessary adjustments as required. 
  3. Follow blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders to determine machining requirements. 
  4. Adjust machine settings such as speeds, feeds, and tooling to optimize production output and quality. 
  5. Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and blueprint specifications. 
  6. Assist with troubleshooting machine issues and routine maintenance tasks to keep equipment in optimal condition. 
  7. Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to company safety protocols and regulations. 
  8. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines. 
  9. Commitment to safety protocols and practices in a manufacturing environment. 
  10. Other tasks as assigned. 

Requirements: 
  1. Minimum of 2 years of experience operating CNC machines in a machine shop or manufacturing environment. 
  2. Understanding of CNC Mill operations, including axis control, speeds, feeds, and tooling. 
  3. Strong attention to detail and quality orientation, with the ability to inspect workpieces for accuracy and conformance to specifications. 
  4. problem-solving skills.
  5. Basic computer skills and familiarity with CNC software (willingness to learn CNC programming is a plus). 
  6. Willingness to learn CNC programming and other advanced skills preferred.
  7. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues and supervisors. 
  8. Knowledge of CNC machine maintenance and troubleshooting preferred. 
  9. High school diploma or equivalent.
  10. Technical training or certification in machining or related field preferred.
