CNC Machine Operator 

Are you experienced in production or machine operation? If you have a willingness to learn and enjoy a small, laid-back atmosphere this is the job for you. Successful candidates should have production skills and the ability to safely control various machines and equipment involved in preparing and manufacturing parts per customers specifications. This position is located in Dryden, MI. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Pay range is $17.00 to $20.00 based on experience.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  1. Operates production machinery in accordance with prints and specifications. 
  2. Processes the required parts per established specifications and tolerances per customer work order.
  3. Measures & visually inspects finished parts with precision tools, ensuring compliance with function, quality, and cosmetic specifications.
  4. Maintains logs and records of units produced including a record of errors resulting in rejected or discarded pieces.
  5. Inspects equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment; performs basic and routine adjustments and maintenance.
  6. Monitors & reacts to safety alarms. 
  7. Operate a Hi-Lo (forklift truck) – in house certification provided.
  8. Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
  9. Performs other related duties as assigned. 
 Required Skills/Abilities: 
  1. Ability to follow written directions.
  2. Work well in a team. 
  3. Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production equipment.
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  5. Stong verbal and written communication skills
Education and Experience:
  1. High school diploma or equivalent required.
  2. Completion of on-the-job training may be substituted for educational requirements.
 Physical Requirements: 
  1. Prolonged periods working on feet, using numeric and hand tools.
  2. Performing repetitive actions that entail frequent bending, stooping, and twisting.
  3. Must have finger dexterity to use calibers. 
  4. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time (over 50 lbs requires team lift or lifting aid) 
  5. Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts produced.
