CNC Machine Maintenance Technician Shift: Night Shift Position Type: Direct HirePay: $36-$43 + ST/OT for over 40 hours QSPTG is a recruiting firm partnering with a manufacturing company seeking an experienced CNC Machine Maintenance Technician for a Direct Hire Night Shift opportunity. Position SummaryThe Maintenance Technician provides diagnostic and repair services for manufacturing, delivery process, CNC, boring mill, and shop equipment. This role supports production operations by ensuring equipment is properly maintained and repaired in a timely manner. Key Responsibilities
Repair production equipment ranging from basic hydraulic systems to complex CNC machinery, performing both electrical and mechanical work
Inspect equipment and components to ensure proper maintenance under warranty agreements
Perform preventive maintenance on electronic, electro mechanical, and mechanical equipment and production systems
Identify faulty equipment and secure parts and tools necessary to complete repairs
Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machine tool equipment and controls
Utilize electrical and electronic diagnostic tools including multimeters and infrared scanning equipment
Coordinate with contractors and maintenance personnel to ensure repairs are completed properly with minimal operational impact
Communicate clearly regarding repair status, parts ordered, and estimated completion time
Order replacement components and maintain accurate repair logs and work orders
Maintain clean and organized work areas
Follow all Lockout Tagout and PPE safety requirements
Qualifications
Mid to high level break fix and preventive maintenance experience required
Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics, part manuals, assembly instructions, and technical documents
Strong troubleshooting skills with sense of urgency during machine down situations
Industrial mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical aptitude
Knowledge of CNC machine design and operation
Experience using electrical test equipment and working with electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
Ability to work independently
Basic reading, writing, and math skills
Ability to multitask effectively
Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed
