Dryden, MI area Machining company is seeking an Experienced CNC Set-up Operator to join their growing team. This is a 1st Shift position, Monday-Friday, 7AM-5PM. Pay is based upon experience, $25-30 per hour. This is a High-level CNC Set-up skilled position, 3-5 years as a CNC Set-up Operator required. Responsibilities and Duties:
Setting up the machine: loading materials, selecting the appropriate tools, and adjusting machine settings based on the part's design.
Loading and running programs: G-code programming to instruct the machine on how to create the desired part.
Monitoring the process: They observe the machine's operation, adjusting as needed to ensure it's running correctly.
Inspecting finished parts: Inspect the final product for defects and ensure it meets the required specifications, using measuring tools and other quality control methods.
Troubleshooting and maintenance: May be responsible for addressing minor mechanical or electrical issues that arise during the process.
Skills and Qualifications:
Technical knowledge: A strong understanding of CNC machines, programming, and manufacturing processes is essential.
Problem-solving skills: The ability to diagnose and resolve issues that may arise during the machining process is crucial.
Attention to detail: CNC work requires precision and accuracy, so a keen eye for detail is essential.
