Job Description

1st Shift | CNC / WIRE EDM MACHINIST
POSITION DETAILS• 1st Shift• Temp to hire opportunity• Great company culture• Pay based on machining experience
Great opportunity with a great company and strong culture. We are looking for a dependable Level /2 CNC Machinist with solid hands on machining experience.
This position is a good fit for someone with CNC or Wire EDM experience who understands machining fundamentals, can read blueprints, work with precision measuring tools, and produce quality parts.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Set up and operate CNC / Wire EDM machines
  • Run parts independently
  • Read and interpret blueprints
  • Make basic offsets and machine adjustments
  • Work with tight tolerance parts
  • Use micrometers, calipers, pins, gauges, and other precision measuring tools
  • Perform quality inspections
  • Follow work instructions and production requirements
  • Maintain quality and production standards
QUALIFICATIONS
  • CNC Mill or Wire EDM machining experience
  • Level 1 Machinist experience
  • Machine set up experience
  • Strong blueprint reading skills
  • Experience using precision measuring tools
  • Understanding of basic offsets and adjustments
  • Experience working with tight tolerances
  • Good understanding of quality inspections
  • Strong work ethic
  • Dependable and reliable
  • Good stable work history
  • Good personality and attitude
  • Ability to work independently
  • Programming experience is not required
