Job Description

Bookkeeper - Temp to Perm
- Location: Louisburg, NC
- Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 (DOE)
Our client in Louisburg, NC is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join their team on a temporary-to-permanent basis. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to both financial management and HR functions within a dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare monthly & yearly financial statements and manage closing procedures.
  • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
  • Maintain employee records, onboard new hires, and manage pre-employment screenings.
  • Handle employee leave policies (FMLA & employer-granted leave) and benefits administration.
  • Prepare & distribute W2s, 1099s, 1095s, and ensure compliance with tax & labor laws.
  • Support external audits, compliance testing, and OSHA reporting.
  • Work with outside accountants as needed.
What You Need:- 2-year Accounting degree or Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- 3+ years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Knowledge of general HR functions & compliance
