Bookkeeper/Certified Public Accountant (CPA)Location: Weyers Cave Job Type: Full time Job Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper/CPA to manage the day-to-day financial operations of our organization. The ideal candidate will handle everything from recording financial transactions and reconciling accounts to preparing financial statements and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.Key Responsibilities:Bookkeeping Duties:
Record daily financial transactions (sales, expenses, payroll, etc.)
Maintain general ledger and chart of accounts
Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts
Manage accounts payable and receivable
Prepare and send invoices; follow up on outstanding payments
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
Financial Reporting Duties:
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Analyze financial data and provide insights into decision-making
Ensure compliance with GAAP and relevant tax laws
Assist with budgeting and forecasting
Conduct internal audits as needed
Liaise with external auditors, banks, and tax authorities
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field Preferred
CPA certification (Preference given to candidates with CPA certification
3+ years of accounting/bookkeeping experience
Proficiency with accounting software
Strong understanding of accounting principles and tax codes
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of payroll processing and HR compliance
