The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job • Regularly required to stand and walk for approximately 10 hours/day. The employee is occasionally required to bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch. • Use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. • The employee must frequently lift and move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and move objects up to 55 pounds. • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is required. Summary/Objective: The bend associate position operates machines to fabricate parts. Loads parts in the machine, cycle machine and detects malfunctions in machine operations. The position runs production lots, communicate with co-workers regarding production runs, and maintains a safe, organized and clean work environment.
