BILINGUAL (ENGLISH-SPANISH) PRODUCTION / BULK LEAD- 2ND SHIFT The primary purpose of this position is to oversee the daily duties of the bulk pickers on night shift. This individual will also be responsible for the monitoring of the small stock boxes, laydowns, wrapping & loading of trailers. In addition to be the lead for the two areas you will be required to perform task assigned from the night shift supervisor. Responsibilities:
  • To monitor the flow of work.
  • A) For the Bulk pullers, Replenishments, Zero s (2nd Level counting process)
  • B) Monitor the productivity reports
  • Coach individuals where needed
  • Train/coach team members
  • A) Train new hires for bulk/Replenishments & other operational functions as needed.
  • B) Coach team members when needed based on productivity, Safety, other skill sets
  • Ensure all personnel are properly trained on safety protocol.
  • A) Be an active member of any Safety programs initiated.
  • B) Preform a Safety walk at the beginning and end of each shift.
  • Monitor the flow of the dock
  • A) Assist the Dock lead with the overall flow, load out of the routes.
  • To learn all job functions that are associated in and around bulk/dock
  • A) Including but not limited to Prelude, i.E. OORI, Lay Down of the boxes, Packing, Closing open orders
  • Oversee the load-out process Monitor/Help reduce damages
  • A) Create a list of ideas to help reduce the damages.
  • B) Implement these ideas to help reduce damages.
  • C) Monitor the progress of the damage reductions.
  • Oversee all daily cleaning/aisle assignment sheets
  • A) Ensure all aisle sheets are signed
  • B) Ensure all aisles are cleaned properly daily
  • C) Instruct team members on the proper aisle cleaning procedures.
  • Oversee the daily equipment logs/Battery watering log
  • A) Instruct all team members on how to fill out the daily & weekly logs properly.
  • B) Monitor the logs for accuracy and accountability.
  • Maintain the inventory of good and bad pallets.
  • A) Monitor the Replenishments that are staged on the floor.
  • B) I.E. The end of the night pallets of dog food that still need to be put into the primary location.
  • Loading of trailers
  • A) Correct labeling of coolers
  • B) Check for driver operational equipment (hand trucks/electric pallet jacks/cones/straps)
  • C) Coolers loaded
  • D) Pallets wrapped correctly with correct laydown tags
  • E) Pallets loaded correctly to match load sheet
  • F) Strapping of all oversized pallets.
