Job Summary: The General Laborer will perform a variety of tasks which are generally either unskilled or semi-skilled in nature.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Perform manual labor tasks and support team members during jobs. • Identify any hazards as observed for safety of personnel and equipment. • Communicate issues with leadership. • Perform shop clean-up and other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience (required): • High school diploma or equivalent. • No previous experience required.
Education and Experience (preferred): • 1 year of experience working in a shop environment or equivalent military experience. • Valid driver’s license. • Experience operating a hi-lo. • Experience packing and shipping parts. Skills, Knowledge and Abilities (required): • Good verbal and written communication skills. • Dependable and has good attendance. • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities (preferred): • Knowledge of hand tools. • Ability to work overtime as needed including weekends.
