Production Technician (Automotive Installer)Location: Columbus, OH, 43207-2844
Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour

Qualified Staffing is hiring Production Technicians (Automotive Installers) for our client, a leading truck equipment manufacturer, and we want you!Schedule:Monday – Friday | 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Responsibilities:• Install service bodies, platforms, dump bodies, and van packages on commercial vehicles
• Install hoists, electrical components and circuits, ladder racks, Sortimo units, and other light mechanical assemblies
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and diagrams
• Meet daily production and quality standards
• Work independently and collaboratively within a production team environment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Operate hand tools, pneumatic tools, and battery-operated tools safely and effectively
• Utilize equipment such as cutting torches, grinders, plasma cutters, and overhead cranes as needed
• Follow all safety guidelines and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Qualifications:• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience
• Previous assembly or manufacturing experience preferred
• Experience in the truck equipment, automotive, or related industry preferred
• Ability to work against production standards and meet completion goals
• Ability to read schematics, diagrams, and blueprints
• Must provide own basic tools
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to maintain a neat, clean, and organized workspace
