Our client, is seeking a Trust and Estate Planning Attorney to join its highly reputable Firm. This opportunity is available in 2 locations with distinct compensation ranges. Position OverviewThe firm is seeking an associate with 1 to 3 years of experience in trust and estate planning. Candidates completing an accredited LLM in Taxation program will also be considered in lieu of traditional experience. This role involves advising individuals, businesses, and charitable organizations on a broad range of sophisticated estate planning, trust administration, and wealth management matters. Key Responsibilities
Draft complex estate planning documents for high net worth individuals
Prepare business succession planning documents
Draft and structure charitable giving strategies and documents
Counsel clients on income, gift, estate, and generation skipping transfer tax matters
Support estate and trust administration processes
Assist with probate proceedings for taxable and non taxable estates
Prepare federal gift and estate tax returns
Support planning for tax exempt organizations
Qualifications
JD from an ABA accredited law school
1 to 3 years of relevant experience or completion of an LLM in Taxation
Strong experience drafting complex estate planning and succession documents
Knowledge of estate, gift, and transfer tax planning
Excellent drafting, communication, and interpersonal skills
Strong academic credentials required
Additional requirement for Tampa candidates:
Active membership in good standing with the Florida/WI Bar
