Manage case files from inception to resolution, ensuring compliance with legal procedures and deadlines.
Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal correspondence.
Represent clients in depositions, hearings, arbitrations, mediations, and trials.
Negotiate settlements and resolve disputes with opposing counsel and insurance carriers.
Maintain proactive communication with clients, insurance adjusters, and witnesses.
Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and defense plans.
Key Qualifications:
Licensed to practice in Michigan and in good standing with the Michigan State Bar.
1-5 years of experience in Michigan No-Fault (PIP) and insurance defense litigation.
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
Ability to manage multiple cases independently in a fast-paced environment.
Courtroom and deposition experience preferred.
Proficiency with case management software and legal research tools.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
