Associate No Fault AttorneyLocation: Farmington, MIDirect HireSalary:  $90,000 - $100,000 plus annual bonus  We are working with an established Law firm in the Farmington area to fill a direct hire Associate No Fault Attorney to join their team. Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee case files from inception to resolution, ensuring compliance with legal procedures and deadlines.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research, draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and legal correspondence.
  • Advocate for clients in depositions, motion hearings, arbitrations, mediations, and trials.
  • Engage in settlement negotiations and dispute resolution with opposing counsel and insurance carriers.
  • Maintain proactive and professional communication with clients, insurance adjusters, and witnesses.
  • Work closely with senior attorneys and legal teams to develop effective case strategies and defense plans.
Key Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in Michigan and in good standing with the Michigan State Bar.
  • 1-5 years of experience in Michigan No-Fault (PIP) and insurance defense litigation.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple cases independently and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Courtroom and deposition experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with case management software and legal research tools (Westlaw, LexisNexis, etc.).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
