Assembler Shift LeaderRochester Hills, MI$22+/hour2nd Shift, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Monday - Friday
Summary: Our client is a leading designer and manufactures electrical connectors for the automotive industry.  They are currently looking for a 2nd Shift Team Assembly Line Lead to join their team.  In this role this person will be a hands-on leader who is responsible for the team’s performance and maintaining product quality. Responsibilities:
  1. Assign and manage operators on the shift.
  2. Accountable for shift production performance ie output per shift.
  3. Set-up assembly machines.
  4. Work on automated machines.
  5. Monitor the quality of machine(s) and parts.
  6. Train operators 
 Qualifications:
  • Understanding of potential issues including suspect parts process/blocked material.
  • Experience with measuring equipment, techniques and releasing parts.
  • Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) Checks.
  • Ability to manage a team of operators.
  • High School diploma or GED 
  • At least 3 years in a manufacturing/production environment preferred
