Job Description

Do you have experience working in production and manufacturing?
Qualified Staffing is seeking a hands-on, detailed Assembly Associate for our client in Montezuma, Ga.
Hours: Shift will vary
Pay: $16/hour
Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive and inspect food deliveries for accuracy and freshness.
  • Assemble meal kits according to recipe specifications and packaging guidelines.
  • Operate conveyor belts and essential equipment as needed (approximately 30% of total equipment).
  • Package meal kits following established procedures; deviations require prior approval.
  • Rotate food ingredients to maintain freshness and ensure proper inventory handling.
  • Maintain a clean workspace, practicing “clean-as-you-go” standards.
  • Complete required paperwork related to food preparation, packaging, or labeling.
  • Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and use prescribed Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Identify and escalate issues related to product quality, food safety, or equipment to the team lead or appropriate department.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 3 months of experience working in a manufacturing environment applying common processes, procedures, and equipment.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance practices.
  • Experience applying and enforcing routine Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) in a chilled food environment is preferred.
  • Ability to follow all appropriate safety standards in food production
  • Knowledge of basic math and reading comprehension skills
  • General high school degree/G.E.D or equivalent preferred
