Air Conditioning Installation Technician Location: High Point, NC Hours - Monday-Friday 7AM-4PMPay will start at $18/hr - opportunity for bump in pay after training! Our client, a global leader in climate control solutions for the transportation industry, is seeking an Air Conditioning Installation Technician to join their team in High Point, NC. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled technicians to work with cutting-edge systems on new and used school and commercial shuttle buses. What You'll Do:
Install air conditioning components, including compressors, condensers, evaporators, mounts, pulleys, hoses, and electrical systems.
Work hands-on in a shop environment, ensuring high-quality installations.
Collaborate with a team while also being able to work independently.
Prioritize safety and maintain company tools, equipment, and workspace.
Communicate effectively with the Location Manager, Office Staff, and Team Members.
Complete projects accurately and efficiently.
Perform additional tasks as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience with hand, battery-operated, and pneumatic tools (must have basic personal tools).
Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
Ability to read and understand technical manuals, drawings, and schematics.
Strong communication skills and intermediate computer proficiency.
Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years of relevant experience.
High School Diploma or GED (Technical School is a plus).
Knowledge of mobile air conditioning is a plus.
Certifications such as EPA 609 or a CDL are a plus.
Previous experience as a Technician or Mechanic is a bonus.
