Position Overview:
The Accounts Receivable Clerk will play a crucial role in our finance department, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of accounts receivable transactions. This position requires a meticulous individual with a strong understanding of accounting principles and excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities:
•    Invoice Processing:
o    Generate and process customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
o    Verify that all necessary documentation is included with each invoice.
•    Payment Processing:
o    Record and apply payments received from customers.
o    Reconcile discrepancies and resolve issues related to payments.
•    Customer Communication:
o    Communicate with customers regarding outstanding balances, payment terms, and invoice-related inquiries.
o    Provide excellent customer service and address customer concerns in a professional manner.
•    Account Reconciliation:
o    Reconcile accounts receivable on a regular basis to ensure accuracy.
o    Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
•    Reporting:
o    Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status for management.
o    Assist in the preparation of financial reports as needed.

Qualifications:
•    Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or in a similar role.
•    Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
•    Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, and experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).
•    Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
•    Strong organizational and time-management skills.
•    Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Education and Experience:

•    High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in accounting is a plus.
•    Previous experience in accounts receivable or a related field is preferred.
