Job Title: Accounts Receivable Clerk
Location: Flint, MI
Pay Rate: $18-$21 per hour
Shift: 1st shift, Monday - Friday

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•    Review and verify invoices and check requests.
•    Sort, code, and match invoices, setting them up for payment.
•    Enter and upload invoices into the system.
•    Track expenses and process expense reports.
•    Reconcile accounts payable transactions.
•    Prepare account analysis and monitor accounts to ensure payments are current.
•    Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.
•    Maintain vendor files.
•    Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries.
•    Produce monthly reports and assist with month-end closing.
•    Provide supporting documentation for audits.
•    Maintain an up-to-date billing system.
•    Follow up on, collect, and allocate payments.
•    Research and resolve payment discrepancies.
•    Generate age analysis reports.
•    Review accounts receivable aging to ensure compliance.
•    Maintain customer files and records.
•    Process credit card payments.
•    Develop a recovery system and initiate collection efforts.
•    Communicate with customers via phone, email, mail, or in person.
Preferred Training and Experience:
•    Experience in Invoicing, Accounts Payable, and Collections preferred.
•    2+ years of administrative support experience with increasing responsibility.
•    Experience in a manufacturing/office environment is a major plus.
Education/Certification Requirements:
•    High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
•    Knowledge of relevant software applications, including MS Office.
