ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE & CREDIT ANALYST

SUMMARY: Reporting to the Treasury Manager, this position of Accounts Receivable/Credit Analyst manages and maintains account receivables and handles credit operations as required. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Generates billing and invoicing to customers.
Reports on sales daily.
Processes cash payments and customer debit and credit memos
Performs match-off adjustments and write-offs.
Maintains A/R ageing report and perform various calculations related to reserves.
Investigates discrepancies in pricing.
Participates in the monthly accounts receivable review meetings.
Obtains customer PO information from the sales group.
Assists in the month end reconciling of sales and accounts receivable.
Maintains the price file PO Master.
Works with plant personnel & sales team to resolve certain customer issues.
Performs D&B credit checks as needed.
Sets up new customers and new vendors in the system.
Performs various banking duties.
Signatory for checking account.
Involved in intercompany reconciliations.
Involved in sales portions of state tax filings.
Involved in month end reporting functions, including journal entries and sales reporting.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree level of knowledge in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
3 years’ credit experience, preferably dealing with Automotive O.E.M.s.
Ability to use word processing, spreadsheet applications. Must be familiar with internet research, Microsoft Office software, and the use of e-mail.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
