ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE/ACCOUNTS PAYABLE
Adairsville, GA
PAY:
$15-$18, based on experience
SHIFT:
1st (8:00a-5:00p)
Qualified Staffing - Calhoun is seeking a candidate for an Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable position for a Flooring manufacturer in Adairsville, GA. Entry level experience can be considered!
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing the daily receivable and payable financial transactions of the company.
- Generate and distribute invoices to customers, ensuring accuracy and completeness of billing information.
- Process incoming payments from customers, including checks, credit card payments, and electronic transfers, and accurately apply them to customer accounts.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue payments through effective communication with customers.
- Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are properly accounted for and posted.
- Address billing discrepancies and resolve customer inquiries in a timely manner.
- Process vendor invoices and prepare payments for approval, adhering to payment terms and vendor agreements.
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve any discrepancies with vendors.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including account reconciliations and financial reporting.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions in the accounting system, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Additional Requirements:
- Experience in accounting preferred
- Knowledge in Sage 50 software
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Microsoft software's such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint
