Qualified Technical has been engaged in locating someone equipped with the knowledge and ability to join in their efforts as a Maintenance Technician on 2nd shift.

The Maintenance Technician is a critical member of the team tasked with the primary responsibilities of maintaining equipment and supporting the organization with preventative measures. A self-starter who is committed to being an integral part of the team and motivated by a challenging work environment where there is potential for growth and advancement.

  • Primary duty is to maintain electrical and mechanical equipment, specifically PLC/Controls and related machinery
  • Working with the Leadership teams to improve plant maintenance’s ability to keep the equipment fully operational
  • Monitor & track equipment problems and logs to determine primary areas of concerns
  • Works with the Plant Manager to set priorities and coordinate any maintenance related projects
  • Troubleshoot equipment problems
  • Support installation & repair of all equipment
  • Assist in writing operating and maintenance manuals when required
  • Ensures preventive maintenance program is being followed
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work environment
  • Adhere to all OSHA, NFPA, and other safety standards 
  • Follow company policies, regulations, and procedures

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in industrial maintenance
  • Must have electrical / mechanical experience along with a history of working with PLCs, pumps and controls
  • Previous experience working with hazardous chemicals preferred
  • Proficient with computer software: Microsoft Office
  • Must have good communication skills to interact properly throughout departments.
  • Strong work ethic, personable and positive attitude
  • Problem-solving, attention to detail and time management skills
